My name is Caylee Shelton.

I am a December 2022 fashion design major with a merchandising minor graduate from Marymount University. My fashion line at Marymount's PIM 2022 fashion show (Portfolio In Motion) reflected my love of vibrant colors and was inspired by my Japanese heritage. I designed most items to be gender fluid. Three of these pieces were selected for the Smithsonian's "Future of Fashion" 2022 show. The show was sponsored by HBO Max with a celebrity panel that consisted of the host of HBO Max's culture defining ballroom competition show, Legendary, Dashaun Wesley and Ballroom icon and co-executive producer, Jack Mizrahi, celebrity stylist for Beyonce, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, marnixmarni, and the head designer of Dur Doux, Najla Burt.

I have completed an internship with Loolous where I created technical flats, helped choose color and fabric swatches, and ultimately had my work up for sale in their store.

I have completed another internship with a local luxury brand based in D.C, Dur Doux, where I assisted in their pop-up shop. I was selected to create a planogram for their first retail space. I was also an intern for them during New York Fashion Week. While I was in New York I also volunteered for other shows and worked in production.
